Alpina Blue pics or thoughts?

Thinking of ordering in Alpina blue. Curious if anyone has pics, comparisons, or thoughts on this color is person. Undertones or shiFTs in bright light, etc.

I'm picking mine up this Wednesday, so I'll be able to post some pics then.

Ordered a 25 Alpina XB7 in Marina Bay Blue. debated Alpina. I have a 20 X5 in Photonic Blue. Alpina is more muted, imo. wanted more blue pop.

I personally echo these thoughts, as well. It looks like a more frozen/satin-finished Phytonic Blue - that's how I've historically described Alpina Blue.

I wanted the badges to pop more, so I was thinking Carbon Black but ended up with Tanzanite Blue II metallic as it's exactly the blue I'm looking for in vast majority of lighting situations and has nearly, if not the same, accentuation of the badges in back.

In the end, it's paint, which is entirely subjective - so, to each their own!

I knew I spelled Phytonic blue wrong, lol

2022 Alpina XB7  [8.30]
Pictures really don’t do Alpina Blue (or Green) justice. You’ve got to see it in person to appreciate the depth and luster.

From what I understand the Alpina colors are applied much thicker (more coats) than regular BMW colors. This is a major bonus as my Dravit XB7 paint is woefully thin and prone to chipping..

Alpina Blue is THE color for any Alpina.
