It has arrived, shouldl I install it?

The Sprint Booster arrived less than 48 hrs after I ordered it. I not sure if I should sell it or install it. The seller told me if I wanted 10 he would give them to me for $250 delivered.

Seems like everyone else who's got it, likes it

swift, what kind of tease is this?
install it pronto please and tell us whether its as good as it seems?

my only concern with this is do you have to be very precise with throttle control. will being lead-footed on occasion get you in trouble?!

I am at work at the moment but another problem, the chain on my garage door snapped this morning so I left the 135 at home today as the door was jammed closed.

Use the sprintbooster cord as a chain...it looks thick enough!

It sharpens the throttle response

There's a thread about it on the main forum

Don't think it's affected by later ecu...

It's in, the hardest thing was removing the plug over the hex screw without marking it. (its soft plastic) Well it does what it says but is still very controllable. Its when you give it a stab that it shows its worth, its like it the whole car is faster to respond. I'm happy with it.:smile::smile:

It's like experiencing the first drive of the car all over again. It turns the car into a beast:headbang:. I have just got back from a late night squirt along my favorite bendy back road but had to back off after a near miss when a wallaby crossed my path.
I have contacted the vendor and have asked for a quote on 5x auto modules and 5x manual modules.

Does anyone know if we will be able to achieve something similar down the track with shark edit / Dinan etc?

I knew you would like it. My car is so different in behaviour with and without the sprint booster. I had to take mine off because the wife is trying to learn manual and she could not even get off the line with the booster. Now the car feels a lot slower again.

Got a price on 10 sprint boosters, $2580 US$ delivered. I've already got mine so how are we going to do this so I don't end up paying a customs fee and GST on these, and one more thing; who is going to front the money for this lot?

Why dont we just wait till more people have got their cars?
That way we might get an even better deal through a larger volume group buy.

To avoid customs duty you will need to ensure these sprintboosters are delivered in batches of <AU$1000 value inc postage several weeks apart. Either that or gently persuad the company to 'adjust' the invoice total.
