Might be hard to iron out the creases.

A year after initial model release BMW will probably release non-iron fabric as an option and charge extra $$.

Could you imagine how long it would take before the first d*ckhead slashes your car?

I don't mind the styling though.

I don't get the hate in styling, looks amazing to me. Not a fan of the placement of the speedometer and such, that can be solved with a heads up display though and the removal of the oddly placed ones.

It would be nice though to walk into your garage, your car waking up, and giving you a little wink.

Did anyone listen to what CHIS IS SAYING????

It's not about the car so much as a new way of thinking. This is just 1 very small idea put into play (what we see)

Imagine this....

You have a different skin for moods... the ultimate mod!!! Colour change every few weeks, or even what texture you want... Imagine taking the skin off, and throwing it in the washing machine!!! hang-dry? If you get a hole, you patch it and add to the "look". Like jeans, patch on the knee... etc... wow!

Even the shape... the modding there... OMG!!!

to me it is much like when people started understaning how the computer changed music audio; mp3! The flexability we now have...

make your own playlists, download anything, everything, quality you choose, etc etc...

Even if we say take this even 5%, imagine taking the 1 series, put a "skin" on it, change the colour in 2 hours, or even put a few extra bulges here and there, depending on how you are driving...

Even the windows could be flexable, never worry about a rock chip again. Maybe change your skin to a new one every month/year dependong on cost...wow Maybe the car can even be produced 10k less, and add 2k for skin? Time will tell!!!

GINA LIGHT VISIONARY!!!

(maybe it's the coffee but this is soooo cool!)

PS
Listen to what Chis says, don't get to caught up in the actual sample product
