BMS Dual Cone Intake Kit! - New - In stock and shipping! $129 + s&h
UPDATE: 6/17: IN STOCK AND SHIPPING NOW!!!
Hey guys, I'm pleased to announce we've added another product to our lineup! The BMS dual intake. Our dual intake features quality S&B inverted cone filters and matching black anodized aluminum couplers. Our couplers are perfectly sized to allow a smooth transition from the velocity stack at the bottom of the filter to the turbo inlet, resulting in less turbulence than the sharp transitions you may see on other intakes out there. Installation is similar to our BMS filter, although getting the filters lined up just right takes additional time. Performance between the two is similar. In my mind it really comes down to a style and aesthetics question that every customer will have to answer for themselves. We are offering this setup at the introductory price of $129 + shipping. As of the writing of this we have 25 sets in stock, and orders will be processed on a first come first served basis. I have our next batch on order so if you miss this batch the wait should only be a week or two. Forgive the very dirty engine bay... ONLY 25 IN STOCK, ORDER NOW TO GET YOURS FAST! http://www.rixeffects.com/store/bms to order! Video! and Review from a customer: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...55#post2883755 |

And since the filters draw in air from the snorkel, the front filter may get dirty quicker than the rear. A single filter can gradually draw air further away from the base to compensate.

the "inverted cone" on the rear filter is supposed to help with that some. From what i have seem, they tend to get dirty at an equal pace... but yes, each design has its pluses and minuses... that is why we offer both
