It's the same diameter in thickness as the E92 M3 steering wheel.

Wheel does not come with multifunction trim, multifunction switches
Do you replace the multifunction switches with the one's from the OEM wheel? Is it additional for the //M stitching?

I know you're no where close by but how much would you charge to install it? Just trying to get an idea of labor costs.

You swap over your sport steering wheel's multifunction switches. The trim from your sport steering wheel will fit, along w/ the other ones listed in the descriptions. We recommend the matching alcantara trim for this wheel.

Installation is estimated at 1.5 hours for this part. For an exact quote, contact Joe Diss in our service dept. at 301.890.3000.

I agree with you actually, but the "Wow factor" definitely outweighs the small amount of alcantara that you have to deal w/ , IMHO.
