23 tire preferences

2024 XM approaching 12,000 miles just had the first oil change from the dealer, of course they recommend back tires. I currently have Perelli tires just wondering what other people have used for the 23 inch tires? Summer tires are fine. I’m in SoCal.
Thanks in advance

Simple there are only two tires in oem spec for the 23s. The rears are massive and nobody makes them.

The ones you have and the Yokohama ADVAN Sport V107E . Unless you switch rims or play around with tires sizes (will have to math out what could fix the 23in rim) on the OEM rim that's it, both are bmw star tires.

Base on tread wear the Pirelli should last longer than the Yokohomas.

I have OEM Pirelli and run a Conti all season in the winter on the OEM 22s

I’m aware of the limited options. I knew this day would come. Lol that being said, I have the Perelli’s, which have been great to be honest, in the past when I lived on the East Coast and the climate was different Perelli‘s that I’ve had in the past would get hard overtime and get slippery to be honest in my opinion. That being said with 12,000 miles and needing tires any day now. I have not experienced that in Southern California. Which leads me to my original question just figuring out what tires people like and are the Perelli‘s worth that cost compared to the Yokohamas.

I like the Pirelli's but I haven't heard anything bad about Yokohomas... now if there was a Michelin fix that would be my preferred.

12k is pretty good life for the tire wear of these
