Thumbs up LeatherZ & AndyM

I have bought stuff from Andy & Jon at LeatherZ for years! I was one of their first "Individual" customers with my '99 Z3 2.8. They are both great and make exceptional products. No worries when buying stuff from this vendor!

Great experience with AndyM! Easy to order from site, quick shipping, free rhinestone looking LeatherZ.com pen that my 13 y.o. daughter immediately commandeered (big hit), and great included instructions.

Even without all of that, just take a look through the DIY section here, and DIY index sticky post at the top of that forum. Andy definitely continues to step to the plate to give us great info about our cars. Major contributor.

Btw. Love the rear fogs. I feel like I foiled the NHTSA's evil plan of thinking I was too dumb or not to be trusted to be able to use them. Sticking it to da Man!

Haven't purchased anything from Andy though his DIY's have been most helpful. Major contributor indeed! As good as it gets.

Any plans on offering the carbon leather that is available in the M3 for the 1'er?

If I could buy the material, I could cover the parts.

I can get vinyl that looks like the BMW stuff, but have not found leather.

there was a thread on e90post about someone that got hold of some m3 carbon leather sheets and laid it over his interior pieces. came out very nice. I can't find the link tho. I'll be sure to post it here when i find the link to that thread.

found long's thread:

You should find out where he gets it from, then offer to wrap them over oem trim pieces, and make it so we can get a rebate when we ship you our oem trim pieces after receiving the wrapped ones.

Got any ideas yet for replacing the Alcantara on the Performance steering wheel with Black or color matched leather? I think there is an interest for that from reading the Performance wheel thread....

Asked him to clarify and will let you know.

I would _love_ to get some alcantara going on my interior bits, especially the steering wheel.

Well I am planning on purchasing one within the next month or so....should I just have it shipped straight to you so you can have a look at it first?

for example:

M. Mason c/o Andy M
Street Adress
City, State
Zip Code

I would be willing to do that if it would help you make a decision! Let me know via PM.

Cheers to Andy and LeatherZ ordered the Shadowline Kidney Grilles from him and they came fast! His instructions were detailed and easy to follow and damn my car looks pissed off now.

Thanks Andy!
