Looks great! When I first saw this thread, it had no pics in it either, and I thought you were doing a huge tease in just saying "are heaven". Thanks for the link.

Apparently the spring rates for pss10 (for E90) are very very similar to the spring rates for the PSS9 (for E82)... only slightly stiffer...on the front or back i forget which

I talked to Bilstein several times to ensure the part numbers are the same. There is a different part number, but that is a PSS9, not 10. They consolidated the two and they are now the same part number. Look at the manual in my gallery I posted.
Spring rates are the same as the e90/e92, the back is stiffer by 5lbs, which is less then 1% They are about $1900 from Turner. So far they have been everything that I would imagine. I'm currently on setting 4/10 front and rear. Body roll is gone, car feels very neutral and very responsive. I would say it's about 20% stiffer over the stock suspension, I was quite surprised. I was expecting a harsh jarring ride because that's what I've always heard of coilovers and I'm used to the spring/strut setup. Looks do come at a premium, my driving style has been severely altered as the car would love to kiss the speed bumps. I would definitely recommend this to anyone on the fence of which brand suspension to go with. I cannot speak for the KW's, but the Bilstein's are monotube. |
