Meet for Bay Area Windy Roads Driving
Any one care to meet and find some windy roads to carve up in the bay area? Like later today or tomorrow.
Sorry I had no plans this long weekend and kinda wanted to find some windy roads to carve up. The only ones I've been on is La Honda road near 92.

calaveras in milpitas, mt. hamilton/mines rd, red wood road in hayward - oakland, are all good choices. I can't do it this weekend as i'm in monterey, but maybe we can organize one later on. I'd be down for mt. hamilton, and we can all chill up top on the observatory before heading down mines rd. It's a good 50 miles of curvy road which should be fun!

I had the same thought today. My buddy and I will be tearing up Skyline/Page Mill/Alpine in the Santa Cruz Mountains later today. He wants to take his new (to him) E36 M3 for a run.

Maybe. I'm in the city, and could go either direction. Early morning or evening is best.

drive around los gatos/saratoga area. it's highway 9 and goes all the way up into the mountains and connects to skyline (highway 35). it's easiest to drive through downtown saratoga since it spits you right onto the 9 once you pass through town

Thats usually where I go. I take El Monte off 280 all the way up through page mill past skyline to pescadero. It's a gorgeous drive. Oh and going on a weekday is MUCH better than weekends. Weekends attract bicylcists/bikers which scare the crap out of me.
