Not enough choices but I picked 1400 even though it was at 1K; then, every 5K

i usually do my first oil change at 1000km, then every 2000kms, depending on car and how many miles/km i've done. Full Synthetic of course.

rounding up a little is fine, I don't think there's an exact science to break in yet

the other threads with people going the full year scare the hell out of me, I've owned enough bmw's to know better

I plan on bi yearly changes, 1 on my dime, 1 on bmw's, after the break in change, I'm at 1100 miles right now

Mine indicated Full at 6 qts. Added the 7th qt. and still read Full. :iono:

I picked 1400 but it was actually 1800.
My other concern is the size of the oil filter. The one on my riding lawn mower is bigger and they want us to put 15000 miles worth of oil through it. I'll be changing every 5000.

good thing I ordered some oil and a filter, looks like I'll be following the majority with a oil change right after break in, probably 1400-1500 miles
