Square plastic jack pads/ jack points
So, let's pretend we know a guy who destroyed his cheap square plastic jack pads when lifting the car. What? Of course not me... A guy I know! They basically freaking melted. POS!
Question: do these just pop off for replacement or do they unscrew somehow. I seem to remember the ones on Mini's just popped off with a screwdriver. These are on order. Includes new jack pads and adapter. Thanks in advance.

I "know a guy" who broke one off over the weekend. I..I mean "He" has it laying in the trunk ATM. It looks like it just snaps into place. The one I know of got snagged backing off of a lift after a downpipe installation. The real question is where the broken pieces are going to wind up that are still inside the frame rail.
I'm going to have to order one. I'll let you know how it turns out. |

Good luck, I'll report back after I replace mine with the ECS ones which are OE I believe.
