Brake Dust Shields

So, all in all I LOVE MY ONE!! However, I am forever cleaning the wheels - all that brakedust!!! Does anyone have experience putting brake dust shields on their one? If so, could you post a link??? I would also love pics if anyone has them on their wheels. I want them to go unnoticed if possible. I have the sport 128 wheels.
Also, for anyone who has used them - Are they effective?

Thanks for the info!

To make cleaning easy i wax my wheels. They still get dirt but the dust comes off with ease. I think dust shield make the wheels look goofy.

Sadie - if you indulge in spirited driving, I don't believe the brake dust shields are a good idea. One of our resident techs should chime in here.

You are better off getting EBC Green pads, than those ugly slotted brake shields, IMO. Seeing you have a 128i, you actually have brake pad options (unlike the 135i folk).

I cringe when I see those dark gray slotted plates through the spokes of nice wheels.

Long story short: it f's up the lug bolt torque and blocks airflow.

Oh. Sounds like I just need to get used to cleaning those wheels! Thanks for the input. Saved me from wasting cash.

Sadie, those EBC Green brake pads are a highly rated pad, and they produce hardly any dust...
