Awesome Thread

Mt Washington sounds like fun, but you're looking at snow up there. Current conditions are 20.0°F, with gusts to 55mph.

Mt Washington is great fun. Most of it is paved (a few sections are dirt/gravel), and there are some incredible corners that are precariously close to a heck of a long drop.

When you first enter, stop and wait to give yourself plenty of room between you and the next car - all sorts of vehicles travel up that road, and many shouldn't be making the trip (and hence drive very, very slow).

That road closes down frequently around this time of year for snow storms. Sad, but true.
