Springs W/ Stock Shocks?

How many of you guys are running sport springs with the stock shocks?? Any brand ( HnR,Eibach,Vogtland). Also are the shocks the same on the 325i ( non-sport vs. sport package from BMW) thanx...

a lot of guys on here are. most are i would say most did not change out both springs and struts.

H&R sport seems to be the most popular, followed by Eibach pro-kit and perhaps H&R race. Sport and Pro-kit are more conservative drops, which should be preferred unless you do struts too. Vogtland is even more conservative at about 1 inch, and of course, some members are selling stock Sport package springs which lower it .6 inches. The more concerned you are about the wear on the stock struts, the less you should drop it.

If i recall, the sport struts are different. But a .6 drop on stock struts will be a safe bet. A lot of users are fine dropping twice that (h&r sport), so .6 or even Voglandts 1 inch will be safe.

i had eibach prokit on my honda prelude for a few years, and was running stock struts, no problems, other than a slightly harsh ride.

I am running HnR Sport spring with stock shocks. No issues. I previously had ZSP springs on my 330i.
