That must be some sort of VIP entrance at the mall of the emirates because I've seen alot of photos taken in that same backdrop...all big dollar stuff.

That chrome SLR reminds me of the "flight of the navigator" spaceship. (80's movies anyone?). matte black is pretty hot.

It is also illegal here in the middle east. But this car is probably owned by a Sheikh or registered under one.

I was gonna mention this matte black SLR on my first post, its def also one of the hottest.

LOL... I remember the Flight of the Navigator. The SLR is big enough to be about the same size.

As long as we keep buying oil from them, they will be able to afford to live like f***ing kings.

Right, Dubai itself is not oil rich grounds, but there's lots of money related to oil that lives and works there. The mercantile exhange, etc.

Give it ten years for their largest fields to go into major decline and the money will dry up as fast as it appeared.

Dubai, out of all middle eastern countries, is probably the best and most friendly country to live. Plus they have the most exotic cars in the world

Both are very nice, I'd rather rock the Matte Black SLR though.

Very true. Our dollar is worthless in many places now.

Everything to do with oil since the that's the source of income for most of the tourists.

But that is why they have been so aggressive in building up the tourist industries and other stuff. Hoping that once the oil money dries up, people will still want to go there. It is risky, but a better use of all that money thatn having it sit in one or 2 peoples swiss bank accounts IMO.

I kind of like the Chrome one. Reminds me of something from The Phantom Menace, like the spaceship from Naboo. Not something I would want on my car per se, but I can appreciated from a car show type point of view.

Actually.. as a consequence of the worldwide economic crisis the dollar and yen have zoomed up in value as other currencies have fallen. The change is substantial.
