New Aussie 120d M

Hi all,

This is my 120 d with M kit, Sunroof and I went for the woodgrain finish as well. Its about 7 months old now and I love driving it more and more each day.

I do have a little 135 envy as it was released shortly after I ordered my car, but as I am not willing to take the big hit on depreciation, I am not upgrading (yet!!!).

This little car is so frugal, averaging about 6.5/ per 100km and each tank normally includes some pretty entertaining driving.

This is the first diesel I have owned and I am very impressed by the effortless grunt of the engine. Truely a joy to drive.

Regards

Greg.

LeMans is my favorite color. If only we could get it in the states! I rented a 120d for 2 weeks in Germany this summer and I absolutely loved it. Great engine, the thing for me was the 135 pulled like the diesel all the way to 7K

Thanks for the comments. The tinted windows were a dealer option, and a necessity in our hot sunny climate.

turbo lag is the worse thing about this car, but other than that it's pretty decent. I'm getting 6.3L/100km atm with about 8,000kms on the odo. However, I'm looking at upgrading to a LS3 Maloo shortly, not sure what my fuel consumption will be like form the 6.2L V8 though... i don't wanna think about it

I don't have tinted windows and have found it to be ok so far in Brissie, however my sunroof does burn my head sometimes when it's open

Aedeau, I don't have the hair cover these days for midday roof openings, but early morn and late afternoon is a wonderful experience.

The dealer matched the price of the local tinting company, so I thought it a good option.
