Newbie saying Hi
Hi Guys, collected my 135i yeaterday and I am loving it. I live just outside Birmingham. Jumped on the train at 6:30 yesterday morning all the way to Maidstone BMW to collect my car. Was a great 170 mile drive home, the weather was nice the traffic was light, all good.
My car is Met. Black with black leather interior, bluetooth, pro stereo, USB, heated seats, dark rear windows, cd changer. Can't wait till I have got it run in!! I am also looking around at tuning companies. I haven't seen anything on hear about DMS, they did my 996 turbo a couple of years ago and I was very happy with that. I called them a week or two ago and they said they have a great map for the 135. The only other things I want to do are retro fit cruise control, my car was a cancelled order, so although I got 99% of what I wanted, the only other extras I would have really liked was cruise and Xenons. I'm not a fan of angel eyes though, so probably wouldn't have gone for the OEM option anyway. I will probably just fit an after market HID kit. Any recomendations??? I would also like a set of E46 CSL style wheels, does anyone know of a wheel that would fit the bill as I am guesing E46 wheels will be the wrong offset??? Anyway, just wanted to say Hi!!! Sean.. |

Another congrats on the new car!
For a cheaper tuning option, consider a new or used SSTT. 40-50bhp upgrade for $600 and with the added advantage that you can take it out prior to servicing. For more power go Evolve or DMS - 380bhp! Nice! But if your ECU is flashed, you will need to get it remapped again.

Congrats on the new car, I know Maidsone BMW as their the next town down from mine.
I have GP thunders 7500's which IMO improve the look for about £20 I know what you mean about retro cruise as it's something I've looked into getting fitted, but the price puts me off. Enjoy your motor. |

Congrats on the car.
Had my car for just over a week now. It too was a cancelled order, but whoever specced mine did include cruise. If only they had put in the hi fi speakers it would have been spot on. Not complaining though at the price I got it for... |

I think the 1er lights look a bit empty without Xenon's, but I can't believe BMW charge extra for them on the 135i... that's unfair.
