The Squeaking gets annoying...

So I've had my 128i for a almost five months now.
its got 4k miles on it.

for almost 1k miles whenever i brake, all i hear is just a high pitch squeak.
I've been dealing with it for a while since i don't have time to take my car in, but enough is enough.
so I'm taking my car in soon, but I've been wondering to myself why its happening. I don't drive erratically, but sometimes my car is left sitting in my garage.
I've also been wondering why the 128i, without the optional BMW Aero Kit, doesn't have brake ducts? I was looking and there is a place on it for front bumper, but there is no part that connects from the front bumper to the wheel well. (Atleast that's what i saw.) So maybe its a brake overheating issue?

I'd appreciate some info on this situation.

Thanks!

it is the brake pad wear sensor rubbing against the rotor. E60, E65, E9x, E70, E82, they all have this problem. it is not covered the maintenance plan, but is covered under new car warranty. take it in and they'll probably replace the effected axle's pads and sensor.

the material that BMW uses for the brake wear sensor is crap. they haven't figured it out...

actually, i just re-read your post and you said the car only has 4k miles on it? might be something else like improperly bedded pads. either way, you are covered...so you're good to go.

oh alright, well yea i guess either way BMW is going to fix it.
yea hopefully it's covered. i don't feel like spending any more money haha.
i was in a three car hit and run. (my car being the main victim)
so i already am buying a new rear P.S tail light and I'm getting the dents removed.

so as long as the maintenance or new car warranty covers it I'm set.
