Man, after all of that extremely recent work, and saying that you had to make the BMW that BMW wouldn't make for you?
Good luck with the sale, and the Cayman is rockin', but all that work... |

My 2 cents
Think long and hard on your decision after all the work that you have done to your car.
I Trade an 2005 Boxster S with Sportcrono package for my 135. A Cayman is just a hard top Boxster, In some occasions I miss my old Porsche but nothing beats the free maintenance on BMW’s. Do your test drive on a twisty road and make sure to accelerate into the curves. See how it holds so you can really experience a mid engine Porsche. You will get out of it with what is known as Porsche pelmagrim. The reason why I trade mine was it was getting close to the expiration on the warranty. They are great to have while under warranty. 4 years 50,000 miles. If you have any questions PM me. |

I turned my 2005 Boxster in after the lease was up because of the maintence costs. I loved the car, for sure. But $200 oil changes at the dealer and the $1500 30K mile check up coming up.....plus Pilot sport tires on their last legs.....mucho dinero

Well there is a bone stock 128 on ebay for the same price, but no sport package and it's an auto tranny, and another car for 3K more. Since this is not a must sell because of a job loss, I am pretty sure I won't go below this price. Maybe 28K even but I'll have to think hard about it. Stripper 135s are starting to become available at 33-34K.

Withdrawn! I am going to keep the car. Finally drove the Cayman, it was Black/Black, not my favorite combo and it had the 17" wheels (boring). Really thought the interior was pretty low rent, just a sea of black without much alum. trim relief. Definitely a step down from the Coral Red on my car.
To make myself feel better I ordered the CF rear spoiler from Dan at United |

I think they're extremely overpriced for what you get anyway. They're one of the few that actually make a BMW look like a bargain. |
