Eric from Tekarbon hooked it up Just sent him the mirrors and he wrapped them 4 me. ( Excellent quality too, looks like a stock part ) Got him to supply new grilles and had them do them with the same weave so it matches... then when I get my carbon roof from BMS it'll match

I like it!

The mirror bases look great, and the painted interior bits are cool - very Porsche like.

Those side mirror base looks great! Is it wrapped by CF fabric? How much did that cost?

Yep, wrapped in CF.... They cost $75 per side, but I think that was a little bit of a deal because I got the grilles at the same time. Hit up Erik @ Tekarbon and I'm sure he'll give you a cost

1. Loosen the steering and pull it out / down towards you.
2. Unscrew the phillips head screw in the center top on the gauge cluster
3. Pull the whole gauge cluster out towards you, then tilt it up, and pull it out.
4. Undo the wire harness from the back. ( flip the white locking tab over, and it'll disengage )
5. Unscrew the 4 silver screws on the back of the gauge cluster
6. Pull the gauge hoods off, 1 at a time, depressing the little black plastic tabs on each side of each one.
7. Pop the black / clear section out from each pod. ( Be really careful not to break the plastic tabs )

Voila... gauge hoods ready to paint.

I just used some green scotch-brite to lightly scuff up each one. Then sprayed them with some Bull Dog plastic adhesion promoter ( 2 light coats ). THEN sprayed them with Alpine White automotive paint ( PPG ) and Clear Coated them with automotive Poly Urethane ( PPG ).

I used to be a custom painter / airbrusher so I have the spray equipment / painting skills to do them OE quality. If you don't have the equipment tho, I'd take them to a body shop after you have removed them and let them know U want them painted. No idea on cost, but it could be around 50-100 I'd guess ( Might be cheaper or more expensive, who knows )

Good luck !
