Transmission whine?
My transmission seems to whine at low speeds, under 20mph, especially when turning. Is this normal or is it possible this may be linked to something, like the trans starting to go?

It could be many things. Need more info however, it does sound like Tcase so far. Is your car auto? If its manual, does it still whine when you're in neutral. Does it whine only when you turn your steering wheel etc...?

Car is auto. I am still under warranty so I'm just wondering how to bring this up to my dealer so they can take a serious look at it. Definitely doesnt do it in neutral, mostly when turning at slow speeds. What do you think?

is your engine n54 or n52?
Any aftermarket mods I have heard of people who have used upgraded ECU's (IE: JB3 PV3) have had turbo wine.

no turbo..no aftermarket mods(yet!). I think it may be all in my head but I am going to let the dealer know before my warranty is up, this way they have it on file in case something happens later on.
