Tint and Carwash?

sorry for the noob question. this is 1st time ever for me to have tint. so, is it safe to have your car washed at either hand-wash or machine-wash facility? thanks!

+1....my tint is on the inside so exterior washes are fine but I do the inside myself with towels specifically for inside tints.

thanks guys. finally, is it safe to assume all tints are inside? the guy who did for me mentioned something about my keys and watch when closing the door. for some strange reason, i thought it's the outside too.

yeah unless they replace the glass and it's tinted glass, but all tint is a film on the inside of your windows!

you will be fine, but like craig said tell them to not do the inside of the windows, at least with a reg rag. most car washes use MF clothes now anyway.
