Clip that holds in headlight

I have regular headlights on my car, I took them out the other day, there was this pin thing that was behind the headlight to keep it in place, but im confused on how to put it back. I ended up getting the headlight back in with the pin behind but i didn't do it correctly and im nervous that its gonna losen up, and my headlight is gonna fall in the engine bay!

It tells you how to put it back on in the owners manual.

That part is usually referred to as the "Bitch Clip" on the forums, and for good reason

Thanks, wasn't sure what clip people were reffering to as the bitch clip, i thought it was the clip that holds the black cover in place behind the headlight, cause i found that clip to be a bitch also

I misunderstood you, That is the bitch clip...I thought that was the part you were describing.

lol its okay, so is there a correct way to put the pin, or clip thing that holds the headlight in place?
