One sounds nicer. As stock not much in it performance wise.

Tune the 330d and its a very quick car. If you dont want to mod get the 330i, you want performance go with the 330d.

Both superb cars.

d/pos - lovely torque, lower fuel consumption, easily tunable (remapping)
d/cons - more expensive service, lack of sportiness in engine sound

i/pos - classic bmw sporty engine sound and exhaust note, rev happy, cheaper service
i/cons - higher fuel consumption, lack of low rev response

I agree with neo's post. One extra diesel advantage is the very relaxed driving and cruising from 50 to 155 in 6th and the 700mile tank range.

Yes and saloon. Not decided on m sport or SE.

Will have either AW or Bluewater.

Only options will be visibility park, Loudspeaker . Not sure (cost) on sat nav, is there two different systems?

Two very contrasting colours your deciding between there.

Test drive the petrol and the diesel.

If you get the diesel will you re-map?
Yes there are two different Navs. Pro and Business. Pro is the better system with full map mode.

I believe Business only has arrows.

I know mate. Ive got it and wouldnt be without the whole I-Drive system. Its not just a Sat Nav, but a complete control panel which also ties in with the stylish look of the car.

The interior can look quite plain without it.

iDrive 2 is not just sat nav - get it - it's so much better than the old system.

And go for M sport, specially as BMW are paying for it at the moment! Residuals are better too.

Have to say I have a new 330i which is great, although the new N53 engine does sound like a bag of spanners on idle! With the new 245HP diesel, I'm not sure if I would choose the petrol again...

I probably got the nav more for the extra binnacle, i dont like the dash without it, it does look plain. It also does loads of other stuff besides nav.

Only on the e92 not the e90, although they are doing free leather.

Discount should begin with a 1 at least...

Hmmm, if you say so. But it's definitely dated. BMW must have thought it needed changing... Although, iDrive 2 will look outdated soon when the new VAG systems become available.
