Leather Cleaner
I have a 2009 E90 with Oyster Interior. If you haven't seen it, the leather is almost white. Ive been looking for good leather cleaners. My brother had a good mothers leather cleaner, but I just wanted to tips on what I could use to clean a car with such a light interior, any products you guys would recommend?

There's a bunch of threads on here and as with everything else, people like what they like and you'll get a bunch of different answers. I like meguiars. It's easy to find and works very well on creme beige which is as light as oyster. It also smells okay unlike Lexol which makes me gag when I use it (it's good but I can't take the smell). The BMW one was too greasy for me. Good luck keeping that oyster looking new.

+1 to the above. I use the Zaino cleaner and conditioners on my beige interior and it works great, but to each his own.

I've got jade grey which is pretty light too. I use a Swissvax leather brush and some of their leather cleaner, then I follow up with some leather milk. I do this once every 2-3 months.

Einszett Leather Care 'Lederpflege' $14.95
I bought this from www.detailersdomain.com. I've been using Zaino leather cleaner and conditioner but I like the smell of this one better than Zaino. |

no grease, flat finish.
basically Leather Master makes about 75% plus of the products for leather out there. they are the main company that is used for leather goods (hi end leather goods) again if you like megs go with megs if you like Zaino go with it, I'm just putting my 2 cents in.... : ) Sample picture: |

Griot's Garage Leather treatment is by far the best product I have ever used.
I've tried Meguiar's, Zaino, Zymol and Mother's, amongst others, in the past. All of the products from Griot's have knocked my socks off.

Very true. Is the leather master strong cleaner abrasive? I don't wanna risk discoloring the leather either, I just need to use something every 2 months i'm assuming so I can clean the coloring from my jeans that rubbed off on the seats.

no its not abrasive you can also dilute it 1 to 1 to make it soft cleaner.
you can definitely clean then protect the leather and prevent the dye on jeans to get on it provide the protection cream is on it. its matte finish and no smell. |
