Adding Chrome Emergency Brake Handle
You can read Andy's DIY on how to remove the emergency brake boot.
It's fairly simple, just be careful not to break any of the plastic tabs. Once you have the boot pulled back, get a pair of wire cutters and cut the plastic zip tie that holds the handle on. Once the zip tie is off, you can completely remove the boot. The stock handle is on pretty tight, so I used a screwdriver and hammer to lightly tap the handle off. Once you slide the Chrome covered handle on, replace the leather boot and put a new zip tie on and pull tight. Pop the boot back into place and enjoy your new handle. |

this is one of the most minor mods you can do... i am pretty sure this does not void your warranty in anyway... heck if this voids it then switching out trim pieces, shit knobs, aluminium pedals should all void your warranty as well.
btw, good DIY op!
