E90 325ci

I want to get the 325ci but as of right now the dealers are holding on to the current prices. From past experience does anyone know when the dealers will be able to deal and even go below invoice to get rid of the '06 cars they have in stock???? Do you think if I go in early august that I can get a good deal or there won't be much difference and I'm better off paying 1-5k more and getting the 328i....
I wonder when BMW is going to start giving the dealers incetives to get those cars sold.
thx guys

Try again at the end of July or even end of August if you can hold out that long. Some dealers want to/ need to meet monthly quotas. But do your homework before you go in and let them know you are ready to deal, only if the price is right. Find out the invoice price and if/ when the dealer holdbacks will go into effect. You can go to edmunds.com to get that particular information. Also try several dealerships and work one against the other. I'm sure someone is bound to meet your price. And if not, just wait for the 328. Remember, it's your money and you are in control. Good luck. Hope it works out for you!

They've had this car in stock for at least the past 3-4months:
Color: SILVER GRAY MET/BLK LTH
Steptronic auto transmission, metallic paint, leather upholstery, cold weather pkg, premium pkg, xenon headlights
Price: $39,745

According to KBB:
Invoice with options: $35,145
MSRP: $38,295

If I go there beg. of august and they still have it, should I be able to ask for something around $34,000 or even less???

There is no such thing as an E90 325ci so what are you talking about.

There is no such thing as an e90 325ci.

I therefore assume you are talking about a e46 325ci ? Or the 325i 4 door sedan ?

If the sedan, you better wait until the 325 335 sedans are introduced, at that point there is better chance of a discount (assuming other threads are correct and they are introduced for 2007).

Edit: boy posts go up fast - the e46 ers should be a better buy after the summer, since the intro date for the e93s would be passed and some would at that point be on dealer's lots.
