OEM rear spoiler in mystic blue metallic
I'd like to get BMW's rear spoiler but it does not come prepainted in mystic blue metallic. I know I can get a primed version and get it painted but a) I'm worried it won't be an exact match and b) don't want to incur the add expense of having it painted. My local dealership wants ~$500 for the spoiler, painting, and installation. I think that's too much. Is it likely that the spoiler will be available prepainted in mystic blue some time in the not too distant future? Then I can install it myself.

Call around and price it at different dealerships.

I think the spoiler is more trouble than it’s worth. I’ve seen too many posts about the ends pealing up. Sure I like the look of the spoiler and if it came as a factory installed option, I would have got one but I don’t think it’s worth buying one, getting it painted and then having to install it. There's a pretty good chance that something will go wrong either with painting it or installing it or both.
