What are you trying to achieve by doing this? Are E46 seats more comfortable than E92 seats?

Many people most likely have not done this "downgrade" (to me).

E46 M3 power/heat is an upgrade to the non-Sport E92 seats.

Then why not try to obtain E92 power/heat? It would definitely make the switch a lot easier.

Hopefully they would be better in an e92 than they were in my e46 m3. I don't know if it was due to the stiff ride, but they used to beat the heck out of my kidneys. A 3 hour drive was painful with them. On the other hand, I can ride for days in the e92 sport seats.

Um, because I have access to a pair of E46 seats for $500...the E92 Sport seats don't look as supportive & I certainly can't get 'em for five hundred bucks.
