Official **NEW** JB+ Dynos

I know a lot of people have been asking about stock DYNOS for the JB+ and I apologize for the delay. Terry finally managed to get a stock car to dyno (Thanks Driver72) and they did some testing last night.

Here are the results from Driver72 and Terry

Testing was done on 91 octane, and on a mix that came out somewhere between 93.0 and 94.0 octane. 3-4 gallons of 91 w/ .75-1 gallon of 104.

Bottom line:
JB+ 91 octane default setting: +40whp / +30wtq
JB+ 93 octane default setting: +52whp / +59wtq
JB+ 93 octane max setting: +68whp / +64wtq

Also did a few JB3 runs on 91 and 93 octane for comparison purposes.

This correlates nicely with my 1/4 mile testing.
With the unit set at about 75%, I picked up about 4.5-5mph compared to stock on 91 octane (about +45-50hp), And around 7mph with around 95 octane. (65-70hp). That wasn't even at max setting. But of course my testing was in much colder temps with 100mph air going through the intercooler, but it all makes sense according to the numbers.

Why does the torque nearly double from 91 to 93 octane? Is it possible that you ended up with more like 95ish octane?

What are the specs of the test car?

Year?
ECU?
Transmission?
Miles?

This should be a little helpful to us in California, who need to mix our fuels to get to 93!

Perhaps since it's only connected to the tmap and not ecu like the other tunes....the controls of timing and pressures are less, leading to the dips...

Dude I am totally chart stupid. So 1 gal of 100 mixed with 91 octane = 95.5 octane? I know that does not sound right so please explain for us retards!

Wait so 10 gal of 91 with 3 gal of 100 = 93 octane?

I think I figured it out and dont feel so stupid anymore LMAO

if you only have 1 gallon of 91 in your tank, and you add in 1 gallon of 100... it makes 95.5

/edit/ nevermind you figured it out

The JB+ alters the factory boost curve, so any dip in the factory curve will increase as you turn the dial up.
