Sometimes, when I locked my car, the clown nose would flash fast, indicating a zone was open, when really one wasn't. At first rearming the alarm would cure the problem. As time passed, the solutions to properly set the alarm would become more laborious. I would have to open and close doors, the trunk and the hood. In the end, I would have to start and restart the car to properly reset and set the alarm.

Finally, I got the problem fixed. The interior sensor was defective. The fault code showed up on the computer. Reprogramming was necessary.

All is good.
