Arrow Timeless Beauty: E46 CSL Concept and Production Pictures

Just wanted to share some pictures of this timeless beauty. I would take this over my E92 anyday. Notice how much CF was used in the concept vs. the prodcution car (photos w/ black strip on the right side).

BMW please please please make a E92 CSL

WTF is wrong with those taillights?

Also, I'd take an E46 CSL over almost any other BMW, cept for maybe the E30 M3 Evo.

One of the best pure sports cars ever made.

Certainly the one of the best bmws ever made. The E92 M3 will never be able to live up to the E46 M3 CSL's glory and that insane S54.

Wish BMW would sell a similar air intake system for the Z4 M. The CSL perhaps loses out only to the M3 GTR in world's best ever sport coupe. Between the two of them, they'll hold honors for best petrol engined sport coupes now and forever.

That and the Z4 M of course. I agree on your assessment of current models, but I still appreciate the new M3 even though I prefer the E46 M3 (looks and all).

I saw three of them one day at the Nurburgring. I didn't know what exactly they other than that I knew they are special.

The trunk lid was clearly different in final production, more aggressive!

I can't get over the CSL. Even today, it's my favorite ever right behind the Challenge Stradale. I love everything about it, except for the SMG

CSL = WIN
