Anyone in the northeast putting your summer tires back on this weekend?

It's tempting.......when I look at my car those 225's in the rear look so skimpy.....I think I'm gonna wait a couple more weeks....

I did it.. enough rain has fallen to wash away the salt. Tires are goodyear asymmetrics, I don't plan on driving with temps below 35F or ANY snow.. car will stay home. Been out in 39F with no problems, obviously must ajust to conditions and take it easy.

Took a road trip yesterday and I deflated my tires by 3 psi (they were 38 cold in the rears) due to the temp being 73F when we left. Felt bad for my tires, 73F and running on snows and dry pavement....hit a nasty pothole on the way back and luckily nothing happened (225/40-18's), because I have that tire protection and it's probably easier to get coverage on the OEM's. Hopefully they'll come off in a couple weeks...

Garage List
summers

never took mine off. drive the wifes car in bad weather.
on a cold day those run flats get a flat spot f/ sitting.
they take a few miles to work the spot out.
just like warming up the tires to go racing.

Ilive near Toronto and I won't take them off until at least mid April. BTW, there is a freezing rain warning for tonight and tomorrow morning, as we speak.

I won't go straight back to by 19's either becasue of all the big potholes in spring tme. I will go back to my stock 18's for a month or 2 before putting on my 19's.
