215's on a 8.5 in rim? How the hell did they get the beads to seat?
usure about the offset but 18x8.5 should fit no problem Edit:BTW you tried using the calculator on the top of this page? |

18x8.5 et 35 would definitely fit. But the size in the rear would sit far in. I'm running 19x8.5 et 30 on the front with no prob. 215 is way to narrow, should be atleast 225.

215's will fit on an 8.5" rim without stretching. In my eyes, if the rim width is within the range provided by the tire manufacturer, it's not a stretch. I have 235's on my 19x9.5" rears and they look fine.
The offset and rim width are good, though I agree with Ghost170 that the rears will look rather tucked in especially with 215 tires. In addition, 40 would be a more suitable profile for 215 width tires on an 18" wheel.

I guess you could say it would make the car look narrower since the tires are stretched. For a 8.5 +35 setup, we usually do a 235 for a "square" look.

Wheel fits, but that's the wrong tire size, go with 225/40/18.
