IForged Materials. 100% 6016-T6?
i know that the center wheels are made from 6016-T6 forged aluminum. but is it happen on the same way with the inner barrel & the lips?
i did a small research, some people are telling me that the inner barrel are using a casting process. |

This may have changed but last I checked their barrels were not T6.
We have a Jline (made by iForged) 2pc and 3pc here for comparisons and they are not T6. Also, the 2PC barrel is made from a sheet of aluminum wrapped around a press and then welded (you can actually see the weld point, kinda scary). With that said, iForged is not positioned as a premium product on par with HRE etc, it's really considered the most popular entry-level forged wheel in the industry. Let us know if you have any other tech questions about forged wheels (or anything else, for that matter) |

"The 2PC barrel is made from a sheet of aluminum wrapped around a press and then welded" is basically called extruded welded aluminum. A proper way would be using a seamless extruded 2PC barrel but either way it would still be welded. |
