Can I make a lease payment with a credit card?

I searched but found nothing. If this is a repost, please post a link.

I would like to use a credit card to make a lease payment and maybe all of them in the future. On the 'MY Account' page on BMW's website, you can only pay using a debit card or bank account. Is there another way to pay using a credit card? The points would be really nice.

yea i would love the points as well... i pay my monthly insurance charges through credit card but BMW FS is too cheap to absorb the 1-3% credit card charges.. thats my guess.

...maybe you're too cheap trying to get points over your monthly payments.

A contract is a contact, they are not asking you to pay an extra 1-3% are they? And if they did I am sure you would be less than happy.

Oh good damn. Now this is going to be a 5 - 10 page thread on a really simple question?

The answer is NO. Get over it and move on to another thread. I dont care if your airplane miles will get you to visit limited_slip's wife 5x more next year or not.

Just find a bank where they give you rewards points on your debit card. I doubt you will find it at your big monster mega nickel and dime the crap out of you bank. If you can get into USAA (http://usaa.com) and sign up for their free checking (which is *really* free) you get rewards points, interest and ATM fee refunds on your checking account.

Did anyone noticed if you can has use credit card?

I wish I could have put my car payment on my credit card this whole time. Hell, I'd put my house payment on it if I could. Unfortunately, I can't do either. So be it.

I'm pretty sure most loan payments need to be paid via checking account, or a debit card tied directly to a checking account.

...if not...what's the purpose of a credit check during the lease/finance process?

Nice, points are cool but not worth this f****** thread. Amex for instance gives you $50 back for (nearly) every $5000 you spend, i can do without that 1%. Plainly, they are not something to think about but something to be pleasantly surprised of once in a while.

paying your car payment with a credit card would defeat the purpose for BMW to charge you for late payments. If the world was like that, then we would all have many credit cards that pay each other.
