Hello! Need some inf. Want to buy my first car, it will be for work and for my needs. The most excepcted thing i need is non-breakable car. I will have to upload the car for work regulary with around 200-300kg, and everyday taking about 100-150km. Is this my car? I dont want to know about private life of my automechanic.... My options is x3 2.0d, 525d (but is realy small)
If you say the engine/car suck i will have to choice skoda, merc or some ugly toyota I have aroud 15-16k euro for the x3. Helpppp |

i'll be honest, i don't know anything about the BMW diesel engines, since only the 3.0L TT engine is offered here in the states. However, i can tell you from reputation, they are very strong engines, that will deliver a lifetime of hard work.
in terms of the carrying capacity of the X3, i don't think you'll have a problem with your 200-300kg (about 650-1000lbs) of weight. given that the X3 can carry five people, which would be about that weight, plus their luggage, i don't think you'll have much of an issue carrying the weight over that distance. it will put a strain on the engine/transmission, but i don't think you'll have any long-term issues with it.
