Looking for CPO 335i coupe 6mt in midwest...dealers I should check out?

I've been using the CPO search on BMW USAs site, and I know their inventories will obviously fluctuate, but does anyone have any suggestions of midwest dealerships whose inventories I should keep an eye on? Unfortunatly my local dealership does not have a large preowned program, and rarely any manual cars. It sounds like The BMW Store in Cincinnati usually has a few 335i 6 speeds though; any other dealerships I should keep me eye on?

all good places to check (PS its Levin in NW Indiana - Schererville)

I would stay away from Perillo in the city (heard some bad stories about them) and I'm not too fond of Patrick either... their sales guys blew me off on 2 separate ocassions when I was looking for my E90.

I purchased from Laurel of Westmont and they were cool but I also found out recently I didn't get as good of a deal as they lead me to believe so just make sure you double check your numbers if you are financing/leasing.

I'd say also check Elmhurst BMW and Knauz - which will probably have the biggest inventory right now. Fields is ok but they are kinda snobby from dealing with all the ultra-snoody north shore guys up here.

Motorwerks has always been a place highly recommended so make sure you look into them several times throughout your search.

I will say though, Cars.com and Autotrader will have a CPO filter so that's gonna give you the widest results... maybe start there and see what you find.

Thanks guys! I have been using AutoTrader for the last 5 or 6 months watching the CPOs, but this dealer info is good as I'm in SE Michigan and would have a long drive to check out the prospective CPO. Hopefully I'll be able to get a good idea of the condition online... my main worry is about air bubbles in the RFTs, which I hope the sales person can give me an honest assessment about.

Laurel is the best in CPO.. Motorwerks is fine, but you have to act fast as they attract a lot of crowd.. Perillo guys are unprofessional for CPO owners.. but their inventory is pretty good..

I got my CPO 335 from Elmhurst BMW. The salesman I dealt with was a guy by the name of Dave Hubner. Extremely helpful and I was able to talk my car down 6 grand, and he threw in free all season mats. I hope that helps.

i live 5 mins away from elmhurst bmw and i drive to either patrick or laurel (20 mins) when i need service or parts. i called elmhurst 2 seperate times looking for parts and they acted like they were doing me a favor. not to mention that they messed up a members windshield and it took going through hell and alot of drama on the forums to have them finally fix it.

You mean when CPO owners bring in their car for service?

This is good dealership info, but I'm mostly interested in just purchasing, i have a dealer in town for service

Thanks for the additional replies! If anyone else has insight about where to look for a CPO, feel free to share! For now I feel keep watching AutoTrader, BMWUSA and try to frequent those dealer sites. I really like the free CarFax report which can let you know about replaced tires and failed oil coolers!

I heard bad stories of Elmhurst BMW before I went there, so I was pretty well prepared. The guy I dealt with was very nice and like I said, I was able to negotiate 6 grand off the list price.

My 07 335 coupe 6spd (9400 miles) may be for sale in the next couple of weeks. It will not be certified (I need to turn the car in or buy it since the lease is coming up) but the bmw extened warranty is the same. If I buy it, I will just go that route. PM me for details. I am in Columbus, OH.

Not just for service..I am talking with regards to purchasing one.. I bought mine from Motorwerks in Barrington, but later switched accounts to Laurel BMW for service. Quick note: The dealership doesn't matter until you get a good deal on a CPO. You can always switch dealers to service your car later on. One dealership can be terrible but they might have a very good deal on a CPO car..So, get the cheapest car, go for service somewhere else..

I think that price is a little high for the mileage. I would keep doing your research and see what you come up with.
