235 all-round on 8.5? (194 M wheel)

Hi all,

I'm looking at some 194 wheels for winter tires...

Is it possible to run 235/40 or 45 on all 4 wheels, considering that the front ones are 17x8 and the rears are 17x8.5?

Thanks.

Yes. I'm using those wheels as my winter set-up.
I use 225/45 tires all around, but you can also go with 235/45, but I wouldn't go with 235/40 as they will be too small.

Here's a link with pics of my wheels.

225/45/17 is recommended but 235/45/17 should work just fine.
