530 over invoice fair for 09 335xi?
Hello,
I gave a few offers to several local dealers for a new 335xi, M-Sport, Navi, Heated Seats, Ipod, assist, msrp came out to like 51,175, invoice was 47,070 (used edmunds plus msport prices from here), offered them 47600 which is 530 over invoice. A few accepted so far. do you think I could go lower? Already have another bmw lease from open road in edison nj, I plan to go show them these offers and see if they can deal. I basically emailed about 20 nj dealers using the 1addicts "easy chair" method and have had a few responses so far. BTW, how can a dealer afford to sell a car at invoice or even a few hundred above invoice? Wouldnt profits be superceded by hourly wages of CA's and stuff? I almost find it kind of rude to go lower... |

I know my deal was $200 under invoice. I'm not sure how they're making money but I assume that the dealers are being refunded the $1,000 Loyalty Cash they use in the deal. Make sure you get the Loyalty MF of .0017!!!

So are they giving me the OK on that offer based on already including the $1000 loyalty cash? So really without that its 1530 over invoice? Or could I go 500 over invoice minus loyalty? I thought the loyalty cash was straight from BMW FS and not out of the dealers pocket.

Is your Acc Fee rolled into the Cap Cost? If so your deal may not be all that bad. That means you're getting the car for under invoice, then they add the Acc Fee, which is $725-$925. Ask the dealer to OUTLINE each of THESE items and Paste it here Base Cap Cost Additional Costs Cost Reductions (any loyalty cash/down payments) Adjusted Cap Cost Money Factor

The program from BMW is $1,000 AND .170 rate. I ordered my 335xi (Awaiting Transport to US) with 100% options except Active Cruise. Payment is $599 a month with a Total of $6500 day with Rim and Tire Insurance. 36/10k NY Taxes in the Payment at $500 over Invoice with floor mats included.
