just bought an '09 Acura TL, got a killer deal

my 535i lease won't be up until end of July but just couldn't passed up this deal, '09 TL Tech package FWD for 33,380 plus tax/fees, that's about 2000 below invoice according to Edmunds. pull the trigger before the sales tax and dmv reg fee increase next month in Cali. now, after driving the new TL for 3 days i love my 535i even more than ever, it's night and day handling wise but i didn't buy the Acura to be a track car either. for those of you who leased, when would BMW renegotiate the agreed residual? if at all? i spoke to bmw financial two weeks ago, they basically no way in hell he'd adjust the residual on my 535i but i've heard differently here and bimmerfest.com

You have to talk to your dealer about the residual. In most cases dealers usually end up taking some more discount (a few grand) off of the RV.

So you bought the TL at a killer deal, love your 535 even more now and are looking to maybe buy the 535 at the end? Good luck with that one..

ok first, why would you want to buy an 09 TL if u are happy with what you have. Anywho, you can renegotiate your residual with your dealer. I got 2k off GL on your money wasting plans.

How long is your lease?

Nobody negotiates the residual now, wait for the end of the lease or just pass it on to somebody if you don't need the car.

okay the TL is not solely for me, it'll be my wife's car as soon as her Accord bits the dust which is pretty soon, at that time i don't have to worry about getting another family car since we have the TL and hence, it opens up door for me to get another toy. you see, i planed ahead. lol. as for the residual negotiation, i was just curious, the lease ends July, my resid is $39,000, now if they slash $5000 off then i may consider keep my e60 but anything less than that i'll pass.
