Tinting Shop in Northern NJ...

Hey guys,

I'm looking to get my windows tinted near my house in northern NJ. Has anyone been to any good tint shops near there. I will also have to get the ceramic tint since I have the navi, so if anyone could help it would be great.

Can't get your front windows tinted and pass inspection

Tints!

I know but my inspection is not till 2009 and i'll just pay to get it taken off the front windows. I am also only looking to get 30%, which should look nice on my alpine white with beige interior. Hopefully, the cops won't bother me to much since the tints will not be that dark. So does anyone know of any good places?

why not just pay a state inspection place to just qualify your car instead of removing them. I never had any problems. Just don't tint it that dark...maybe 30% is the darkest color before getting pulled over. Also...lower your windows when you see a cop beside you...

Tropicwindowtint.com - In Union, NJ. Probably will charge you around $269. I got 35% all around and it looks great! No regrets.

ceramic tint

A ceramic tint is just a tint which is not dyed which ussually loses its color faster or does not have any metal in it. I called my dealer and they have never heard of a metalized tint affecting the navi or radio. I think the the navi antenna is in the fin anyway so it should not be a problem.

there's a good place called Top of the Line Tint.........seems very reputable and I'll be going there for a quote sometime soon. Perhaps we can get a group together and see what type of deal they're willing to give.

got the car tinted today at Top of the Line in Lodi, NJ. Brought two cars over so they gave us a good deal. When I dropped off the car yesterday, they were working on a Maserati. I'll try to post a few pics.

I'm pretty happy so far. It definitely gives the car a nicer touch. I got 35% all around and the interior is black. Exterior is Arctic.

They were very pleasant to deal with. When we went to pick up our cars, they told us my cousin's Nissan had a few bubbles in the rear window but they'd redo it. I suppose if you drive an Altima, you get no

I originally told them we had three cars. So if you decide to do it there, just tell them you are the other car besides the 325i and Nissan.

Top Of The Line Tinting.

The price was 295 but, if you go online there is a 10% off. So, make sure you print it out & bring it with you . so it came out to like 265.

Call and ask for George or Phil and tell them you were the other car with the Altima and 325i. They'd probably honor the deal we got, which is slightly better than the internet coupon.

I also went to Tropic Window Tinting.

very good job (even 5 years later, no problems).

they do a lot of exotics.

and yea, when it comes to inspections, just go to some sketchy place and pay a little extra... I have 18% all around and only got pulled over ONCE in all of 5 years (small fine). I wouldn't sweat it.
