Random piece of weatherstripping sitting on my air box... (pics)

So I just happened to pop the hood tonight only to find this piece of weatherstripping sitting on top of the air box... maybe I'm just tired, but I can't figure out where it came from.

Engine bay hasn't been touched in quite some time, and I had it open a few weeks ago (did not notice then)...

Please help.

I think it goes on the top of the front bumper... looks like the other one fell off long ago.

Great.

Not a big deal - those strips fall off once in a while when you open the hood. It probably belongs somewhere along the bottom perimeter of the engine bay - just see that size of stripping fits.

It's only a problem when you accidentally DROP it down into the engine and have to spend an hour fishing it out. Not that this has ever happened to me ...

Thanks guys.

Yes, this is where it belongs, I've looked. I had similar problem time ago, when I found a much smaller rubber gasket on my driveway - I had hard time finding whether it fell off the car.

Yup, i found one exactly like that on my airbox. Took me some time to figure out where to put it back.
