DSP WIRE?

Can someone please help identify the extra wire on the left. if there is a six pin and a 3 pin, will the car also come with a coaxial wire? I thought it was one or the other. Thanks for any help, I was trying to connect a Isimple to use my Ipod, and it didn't work.

If you're talking about the cable with the light purple connector, then it might be the antenna for the bmw assist/blue tooth/whatever your model year has module.

Yes, the one with the purple connector. So that is not the wire for dsp connection?
