Wheel/Tire Insurance? Wifey does a no no

I purchased the insurance for my E92 - questions - my wonderful wife just took the car for a spin for the first time and Yes - a Nasty Curb Rash was made by her wonderful parking skills and a huge screw found itself in the tire (RFT) is any of this covered under the insurance?

She is not allowed near my car ever again lol

I have the tire/wheel insurance as well. Come to think of it, it's sorta a scam. From the sound of it, I believe your tire will be covered. The wheel will ONLY be covered, if the damage was severe enough where the tire cannot hold air w/ the wheel. Otherwise, they will not replace/repair the wheel. It's insurance, so it's all about peace of mind.

+1 on rim having to be so badly damaged that it won't allow the tire to hold air.

Guess you'll have to get a bigger hammer....
