Painted/powder coated 197's anybody?

thinking I may paint or powder coat my factory type 197's and throw some spacers on until I can decide on a wheel to buy.
Has anybody done this or seen this. Would love some feedback.
The vehicle is jet black... would probably do a matt black on the wheels.

i have been debating this as well. I just have 197's on my e92 w/ 12mm rear h&r spacers. Here are some pics for spacer references.
