Had trouble swapping snow tires for summers
3/4 wheels were rusted and stuck to the hubs. Actually, now that I took notice, it was the hubs that rusted, pretty badly. It affects the rears more than the fronts, as the rears have more surface area I guess (the lip of the hub).
What is crazy is the left front has grease, and almost looked like new, while the other 3 were rusted and needed to be sanded. Is that really how bad the quality control is in Regensberg, that they would grease 1/4 hubs? The other possibility is my dealer pulled a wheel for inspection and greased it (unlikely)? |
