Question '09 335i coupe payments - good lease or not?

I wanted your opinion on the payments - good deal or not on the 2 choices the dealer give me.

MSRP is $49,725 to $47,325 with the new April $1,000 lease rebate - '09 335i coupe (3 years/10k miles per year)

#1. $668 a month and $810 due at signing

#2. $4550 (MSD) Mulitple Security Deposits + $627 a month = $5319 due at signing

Thanks!

Hard to tell without knowing MSRP and cost over invoice.

Ok.

MF is 0.00205, residual is 60%

Payment is $644 plus tax.

Up fronts - first payment $644, sec dep $650, acquisition fee $725, taxes tags and fees $200 +/-

Most roll the $725 in which would result in a payment of $665 plus tax.

Try and get the cost of the car down just as if you wer paying cash. But it sounds like you are not getting the run around on the lease..

You always want to put the least amount of money up front, whether it be cap reduction or MSDs.

Keep those $4550 for yourself.

Plus, if you transfer the lease, you can kiss goodbye the MSDs. They will go to the person who takes over your lease. Just a thought...

Glad I let you know!

That's why I am going to avoid MSDs because you never know if you might have to transfer the lease.

Isnt it smart to put MSD's? The money you save is equivalent to a 10-12 percent return with 7 MSDs...I dont think a savings account or any other CD can match that....

No, the base rate is March's listed rate for a 335i coupe. April's are not out yet. 0.00205 and 57/59/60% for 15/12/10K

The rates have been listed on Bimmerfest every month since the beginning of time. Please check them.

From my experience, about $700 a month with 0 down for a loaded 335 is about right...

This is correct, its closer to 10% which is very good the OP will save about $50.00 a month and get the security deposits back at lease end. As another poster said though, if he does transfer the lease he will lose that as no one is going to pay to take over a lease now as many have incentives to take them over. If the OP is gonna keep the car all the way through then he would be smart to use the MSD's.

i think that looks correct - IIRC i thought the MF was .00205 and the $1k was for existing leasing customers with BMWFS?

i placed the order this morning and added nav to it also plus the sales manager went ahead and changed a current allocation to my specs - already got a production # and 112 status, being built next week too

Returning customers get a .00145 rate? Also I think the residual you listed is for 15k.
