AC Schnitzer Trunk Lid Spoiler comes unpainted?
I'm planning to buy the AC Schnitzer Trunk Lid Spoiler from BAVAUTO.COM ($389.95, S&H included).
My question is - they never ask me on this website what color do I want the spoiler! Does it mean I have to take it somewhere to have it painted? In addition, how about installation? If any of you have gone through this already, I'd appreciate any help. I am in the Miami, FL area. |

hi lecatrache, i suspect u have never bought a bmw boot lid spoiler before. all boot lid spoliers need to be resprayed. they are sent to you primed for a respray. the exception are CF items.

Thanks all for your quick replies. It was very helpful.
You're correct, I've never bought spoilers for my BMW. I actually found an AC Schnitzer dealer in Miami, I'll pay them a visit (they also post the product, but at $600+, I suspect that includes respraying and installation - I will find out) |

hi lecatrache, what rear bumper are u getting for your car? i bought the ACS rear boot lid spoiler after geting a kerscher front bumper. the rear end looked a bit wierd initially with the stock rear bumper but after getting the m rear apron and diffuser, the entire look of the car suddenly falls into place and becomes a more cohesive package. will recommend m rear with your ACS boot lid spoiler.

Call CEC, www.cecwheels.com
They can probably get you a better deal. They are the importer of AC Schnitzer products. And yes, its unpainted, but look how good it will look when its completed! |
