Nissan GTR
How much do you reckon used ones will be worth in say 2 years? £30k?
Seems like a stunning car; 0-60 3.5 secs 0-100 8.5 secs 1/4 mile 11.6 secs I just wonder if they will hold their value due to the relative rarity, or if they will sink due to the general economy? |

11.6! i have not seen one do that yet
Anywhere between 11.8-12.2 Yes, i think they will hold value well. liek the R34 did for years and to an extent still does. The R8 Mid 07 when it was launched here were going 10-15k over list for quite a while. I cant see that happening but due to demand will hold prices high.

Oh sorry guys, I thought we were talking about UK GT-R. Not any GT-R around the world.
Stock UK cars 11.8-12.2 Now that 11.6 is a modified car. They usually Trap (stock) 118-120mph... He hit the 112mph limiter before the end of the run, sat there at that speed and still ran a 11.6? Somehow i doubt that.

How can you have times at 'the pod' for standard UK cars when they have literally just been released? |

They may be some imports around for about £30K in a couple of years (already 1 year old) but I think the UK cars will hold up slightly better if they limit the amount may be some abused ones available cheap. First UK ones left the showrooms today at 7.29 (Coincide with its ring time)

The GT-R in stock trim cant do a 7.29 around thr Nordeschliefe.
The car that did that was not a stock car on stock tyres. A stock one laps around the same a porky T

GT-R is a very good car Not the prettiest thing in the world and you can guarantee the interior will be shocking but a fantastic car for the money!
Imports will probably have more trim, be quicker and you'll get them cheaper as well, happy days all round

My mate gets his in September. Apparently the 'special edition' one whatever that is. After just selling his company he is moving from a Suzuki Swift to a GTR - should put a smile on his face

My thoughts...
Its a great car I reckon but I wont buy it unless its very cheap. The 350Z is fantastic and its like, £50 for a 2003 nowadays... Nissan Dealers are the biggest bunch of wankers out there - I loved my Z but the clowns that worked in those places were universally rude and hopeless. I dont believe their service monkeys have a fucking prayer of being able to maintain a car thats so highly specialised anyway!! Matt |
